Md. Aminur Rahman Biswas (CEO)
Md. Aminur Rahman Biswas is a distinguished professional and a Master's degree holder in Accounting from the University of Dhaka. He brings over 34 years of extensive experience with Dhaka City Corporation, specializing in solid waste management, sustainable development, and corporate leadership.
He has been closely associated with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for more than 20 years, where he has played a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and managing various development initiatives. His professional journey includes advanced international training in Japan, Bangladesh, and Thailand, with specialized expertise in integrated waste management and global waste solutions.
Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to numerous development projects, earning recognition as a highly respected expert in his field. He has worked closely with JICA experts on a wide range of initiatives, including environmental education (3R), community development, waste management design, preparation of PR and IEC materials, annual planning and budgeting, report preparation, and organizing meetings, training sessions, and seminars.
In addition to his development work, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the corporate sector. He has successfully served as the head of five organizations. His strategic vision, strong decision-making ability, and commitment to sustainable development have contributed significantly to the growth and success of multiple organizations.
Currently, he is serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EMC Marriage Media, one of the most reliable and resourceful matchmaking companies in Bangladesh. He is also actively involved in multiple leadership roles, including Advisor of Luxury Dream View Real Estate, Vice Chairman of Chhaya Abasan Prokolpo, Vice Chairman of Officers Town Limited, Member of the Governing Board of Geico Group, and Executive Director (ED) of EMC Group, B.S Trading, and E–Market & Consultancy.
